Job Title: Enrichment Program Manager Division: Youth, Family and Health Services
Location: 23 Broadway Reports to: Division Director

FLSA Status: Exempt Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
Position Summary:To provide motivational leadership to a group of teachers whose vision is to make a difference through education and mentoring and deliver qualitative enrichment services to over 150 children between the ages of 5-12 years old.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide daily overall supervision of classroom instructors
Responsible for implementing curricula and resources effectively to strengthen afterschool/summer program
Identify needs of the programs and develops new resources to meet those needs
Oversee program practices and provide guidance and leadership
Responsible for planning and implementing activities/projects geared towards afterschool/summer enrichment participants
Responsible for coordinating the enrollment process including screening, application process and submissions
Responsible for meeting program level of services
Responsible for creating and posting monthly program calendar
Responsible for coordinating transportation and meal services for participants
Develop informational/ marketing materials to engage potential families and participants
Maintain participant database and children’s files as required by Office of Licensing
Create and strengthen partnerships with community stakeholders to include other afterschool programs, parents, faith based organizations,etc.
Conduct parent meetings and workshops
Responsible for creating evaluation plan to gather data and evaluate the impact of the program
Responsible for completing and submitting monthly/quarterly/yearly reports
Responsible for ordering supplies and educational materials
Attend meetings/conferences as assigned by Division Director and required by funding source
Responsible for community building and outreach efforts with the goal of increasing awareness in the community of La Casa’s programs and increase participant numbers
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
Master’s Degree with major coursework in Education/Social services with two years of supervisory experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Social Services with two years supervisory experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Able to facilitate presentations to community and other professionals
Able to complete a fingerprinting background check and Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) Form as required by the State of NJ
Experience with a non-profit organization.
Other Requirements and Physical Demands:
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the use of the Internet
Bilingual/Bicultural (Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish)
Experience working with school age afterschool/summer programs.
Certified or in the process of completing CPR/First Aid Training.
A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.
Professional business attire required
Schedule:
Monday – Friday – 11:00 am – 7:00 pm (Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends)
