Seeking math teachers for fellowships -DEADLINE MAY 4, 2012

MfA is a private nonprofit organization with a mission to improve mathematics education in US public secondary schools by recruiting, training and retaining outstanding mathematics teachers. We offer two very generous fellowships for NYC-area middle and high school math teachers, one for teachers in the early years of their teaching careers (Early Career Fellowship) and one for more veteran teachers (Master Teacher Fellowship).
The fellowships come with very generous stipends (up to 70k), mentoring, extensive enrichment and professional development opportunities, conference and materials funding, and membership in a cohort of math-passionate teachers. Ultimately, the fellowships enrich not only the teachers but the schools in which the teachers are working. The deadline to apply for both of these fellowships is May 4th 2012 at 5pm EST.
